SunTrust Park and the Atlanta Braves host the Cincinnati Reds in a MLB bout on Wednesday.
The Cincinnati Reds came up big in all phases Tuesday in defeating Atlanta 5-3 on the road. The often maligned Matt Harvey was outstanding on the mound with a run given up over 6.2 frames to improve to 3-5.

The Reds pounded out ten hits and walked five times with Jesse inker going 3-5 with a pair of runs knocked in while Scooter Gennett going 2-3 with an RBI and two runs.
Luis Castillo toes the rubber against Atlanta Wednesday for the first time in 2018. Castillo comes off of a 6-3 win versus the Cubs with three runs plated through 5.2 innings of work.
The Atlanta Braves missed out on a chance to extend their lead in the NL East thanks to Tuesday’s loss to visiting Cincinnati. Atlanta came up short on the hill with starter Anibal Sanchez allowing a pair of runs in 4.2 frames with Matt Wisler and Shane Carle giving up a combined three runs over 4.1 innings free passes with Nick Markakis and Tyler Flowers driving in runs while Freddie Freeman knocked in a run and scored.
The Braves give Wednesday’s starting assignment against Cincinnati to Sean Newcomb. Newcomb comes off a 10-7 loss (ND) to Baltimore with a run given up over seven frames.
