Jeffrey Becker-USA TODAY Sports

For the Monday game, the Twins will be rolling out RHP Kyle Gibson. In his 95.2 innings and 2-6 record this year, Gibson has a 3.48 ERA with 93 Ks.

Leading the way for the Twins in hitting this year is Eddie Rosario, who came out of the week with 98 hits, 56 runs, 18 homers and 52 RBI. On Sunday, Rosario had one hit.

As for the Brewers, they just finished up against the Reds. Milwaukee won two of the first three games in that series, then on Sunday the Brewers lost 8-2.

On Monday, Milwaukee is going with Brent Suter on the mound. Across 88.1 innings and an 8-5 record this year, Suter has a 4.28 ERA with 73 Ks.

Coming into the week, Lorenzo Cain led the Brewers with 77 hits, 48 runs and 26 RBI. In the Sunday game, Ryan Braun had a homer and two RBI.

The Twins are 3-7 in their last 10 Monday games and the over is 5-0-1 in their last six in game one of a series. Minnesota is 1-4 in their last five overall and 1-5 in their last six road games.

Meanwhile, the Brewers are 4-1 in their last five during game one of a series and the over is 7-2 in their last nine Monday games. The over is 5-2 in the Brewers’ last seven in game one of a series and they’re 1-4 in their last five versus the AL Central.

Gibson is coming off seven innings versus the White Sox, but in that one he did give up 11 hits for five runs. As for Suter, he put up a .198 BA and a 3.60 ERA over five starts in June. I”m going to stick with Suter to stay hot here and take the Brewers.
