MLB comes to Miller Park on Wednesday where the Minnesota Twins visit the Milwaukee Brewers.
The Minnesota Twins never found their groove at the plate Tuesday and the result was a 2-0 loss. Minnesota starter Jake Odorizzi took the loss with both runs given up on four hits and four BB in five frames while a pair of relievers tossed three scoreless innings.

The Twins offense was held to two hits and four bases on balls with Jorge Polanco and Eddie Rosario recording hits. Jose Berrios has been named as the starter at Milwaukee in an interleague matchup on Wednesday. Berrios was hit hard in a 10-6 loss at the Cubs last time out with six runs plated over 4.1 frames.
The Milwaukee Brewers didn’t do much at the plate Tuesday but didn’t need much with their pitching dominating the Twins. Milwaukee starter Junior Guerra improved to 4-5 with two hits and three BB allowed over five innings while the pen issued just one walk over the final four frames.
The Brewers offense did their damage on four hits and four free passes with Eric Thames launching a two run bomb in the 5th that scored Nathan Orf. The Brewers send right hander Chase Anderson to the hill to oppose the Twins Wednesday. Anderson comes off of an 8-2 win at Cincinnati with a run allowed on two hits and a BB in six innings.
Minnesota are 3-15 in Berrios' last 18 road starts and over is 4-0 in Minnesota last 4 road games and over is 4-0 in Minnesota last 4 on grass. Under is 9-3-1 in Milwaukee last 13 Wednesday games and under is 19-7-2 in Milwaukee last 28 interleague games and Milwaukee are 8-3 in their last 11 Wednesday games. Over is 7-3-3 in the last 13 meetings.
Milwaukee has a precarious grip on the NL Central lead and can not afford to let down in the series finale’ and I’m hoping the Twins struggle on the road again...
