MLB brings us a huge matchup between the Milwaukee Brewers and Atlanta Braves on Thursday.
After winning the series opener at the NY Yankees the Atlanta Braves followed with consecutive defeats after dropping a 6-2 decision on Wednesday. Atlanta starter Julio Teheran was charged with five runs on six hits and four BB over five frames to fall to 6-6.

The Braves banged out nine hits and walked three times with Johan Camargo clubbing his 9th long ball while Danny Santana knocked n Ender Inciarte. The Braves have named Max Fried as Thursday’s starter at the Brewers. Fried comes in off of an 11-4 rout of the Cardinals where he tossed 6.2 scoreless innings and struck out eleven.
The Milwaukee Brewers are still leading the National League Central following a 3-2 win versus Minnesota Wednesday that completed a three game sweep of the Twins. Milwaukee starter Chase Anderson picked up the win with a run scoring on three hits over seven innings.
The Brewers offense did their damage on six hits and a pair of bases on balls with Travis Shaw, Brad Miller and Nathan Orf all connecting on solo home runs. The Brewers have tabbed right hander Jhoulys Chacin as the series opening starter against Atlanta. Chacin comes off of a 12-3 loss (ND) at Cincinnati with a run allowed over five frames.
