Target Field and he Minnesota Twins host the Baltimore Orioles in game two of their series in a Saturday MLB matchup.
The Baltimore Orioles have yet to find their footing in 2018 and didn’t find it Friday in a 6-2 defeat at Target Field. Nothing went favorably for Baltimore with starter Dylan Bundy charged with all six runs (five earned) on nine hits and a BB over 3.2 innings to get the loss.

The Orioles totaled eleven hits and walked once with Chris Davis recording an RBI while Manny Machado and Caleb Joseph combining for five hits with each scoring. The Orioles give Saturday’s starting assignment to right hander Kevin Gausman. Gausman defeated the LA Angels 8-2 last time out with both runs scoring on six hits over eight frames.
The Minnesota Twins need a long hot streak to get themselves back in the AL Central race and could be on their way after Friday’s win versus Baltimore gave the team consecutive victories. Minnesota starter Lance Lynn allowed a run over six frames to get the win.
The Twins pounded out eleven hits with Max Kepler clubbing a two run homer while Joe Mauer and Jorge Polanco each knocked in a run and scored. Kyle Gibson toes the rubber against the visiting Orioles in game two of their series on Saturday. Gibson comes off of a 6-5 loss (ND) at Milwaukee last time out with four runs plated in five innings.
Baltimore are 14-46 in their last 60 road games and are 28-81 in their last 109 overall and are 26-70 in their last 96 games on grass. Over is 21-7-1 in Gibson’s last 29 home starts and under is 12-4 in Gibson’s last 16 Saturday starts. Baltimore are 3-9 in the last 12 meetings and are 4-9 in the last 13 meetings in Minnesota.
I think Gausman gives Baltimore a decent shot but I don’t know if I can actually bet them right now…
