The Cincinnati Reds and the Cleveland Indians meet in the finale of their three game Battle of Ohio set from Progressive Field in MLB action on Wednesday.

The Cincinnati Reds will look to complete the sweep after taking game two on Tuesday by a final score of 7-4. Joey Votto led the Reds by going 1 for 5 with a double and three RBIs, while Adam Duvall delivered a pinch-hit two RBI double of his own. Eugenio Suarez went 2 for 5 with an RBI and Jose Peraza added an RBI of his own to round out Cincinnati’s scoring in the win. Jesse Winker, Alex Blandino and Scooter Gennett each chipped in a base hit as well to cap off the offense for the Reds in the winning effort. Sal Romano gave up all four runs, three earned, on five hits over 7.1 innings of work, not factoring in the decision. Kyle Crockett got the win to improve to 1-0 this season while Raisel Iglesias picked up his 19th save of the campaign. Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

The Cleveland Indians will look to salvage a win after dropping the first two games of the set following their defeat on Tuesday. Francisco Lindor led the Tribe, going 1 for 5 with a home run and two RBIs, while Jose Ramirez went 2 for 4 with a solo home run and a double. Roberto Perez added an RBI of his own to round out the scoring for Cleveland in the loss. Tyler Naquin went 2 for 4 with a double of his own to cap off the Indians’ offense in the loss. Trevor Bauer threw eight shutout innings, striking out 12, not factoring in the decision. Cody Allen was charged with six runs in just 0.2 innings, taking the loss to fall to 2-4 this season. Carlos Carrasco will start game three and is 9-5 with a 4.28 ERA and 103 strikeouts this season. In his career, Carrasco is 2-0 with a 4.45 ERA and 27 strikeouts against Cincinnati.

Cincinnati is 7-1 in Mahle’s last 8 starts and 8-1 in their last 9 interleague games while the over is 8-2-1 in their last 11 games overall. Cleveland is 47-20 in their last 67 home games and 36-17 in Carrasco’s last 53 starts while the under is 5-1 in their last 6 interleague games. Cleveland is 4-0 in Carrasco’s last 4 starts against Cincinnati.

We cashed in on Cincinnati as a huge underdog yesterday, and while I’m pushing my luck, I wanna give it one more go for the sweep. Mahle has been a machine for the Reds during this little winning stretch for Cincinnati, with the Reds winning seven of his last eight starts. Carrasco looked good in his return off of the DL, but he has still allowed three runs or more in seven of his last ten starts, and four or more in three of his last five. The value is with the Reds once again, this time to finish off the three game sweep.
