MLB comes to Camden Yards Friday when the Texas Rangers visit the Baltimore Orioles.
The Texas Rangers have been fading the past few weeks and have lost eight of ten after a 4-2 defeat at Boston on Wednesday night. Texas starter Bartolo Colon was charged with four runs (three earned) on nine hits and a pair of BB through six innings to get the loss.

The Rangers banged out ten hits and walked three times with Robinson Cano and Nomar Mazara driving in runs while Mazara and Elvis Andrus scored. Veteran left hander Cole Hamels toes the rubber for Texas in the series opener at Baltimore. Hamels has struggled the past two times out with ten runs allowed on 14 his and two walks over 5.2 innings.
The Baltimore Orioles look to get their arms an bats on the same page Friday against Texas. Baltimore comes off a 5-4 loss to Philadelphia where the team fell behind 5-0 and a late rally fell short. Orioles starter Kevin Gausman was hit hard with all five runs plated on 12 hits and a BB over five innings before four relievers stopped the bleeding.
Baltimore did their damage on seven hits and a walk with Trey Mancini clubbing a two run homer while Jace Peterson knocked in a run and scored. The Orioles have named Alex Cobb as Friday’s starter against the visiting Rangers. Cobb dropped a 10-1 decision at Minnesota last time out with five runs scoring on seven hits in five frames.
Under is 21-8-2 in Texas last 31 road games and Texas are 13-3 in Hamels' last 16 Friday starts and under is 12-3-2 in Hamels' last 17 road starts. Baltimore are 13-39 in their last 52 overall and Baltimore are 28-75 in their last 103 games on grass and under is 15-6-2 in Baltimore last 23 home games.
The Orioles are the worse team in baseball but they do have a shot in this game if Cobb is competent on the mound…
