The American League and National League collide in the 2018 MLB All-Star game at Nationals Park on Tuesday night.
The 2018 MLB All-Star game features a mix of young players, veterans and those players we seemingly see every year. In 2018, there have been five players selected from AL division leaders Boston, Houston and Cleveland while Atlanta tops the National League with four.

As always there are players voted to their respective league rosters but are members of struggling teams and could be plying their wares for another team post All-Star Game. Manny Machado might head that list with Jacob deGrom and JA Happ being the top pitchers that could be available.
I generally do not list rosters as they are readily available but I will mention a guy that is deserving of All-Star honors but has been bypassed. Blake Snell tops the list with Cy Young type numbers for a Tampa Bay club that is fighting to be at .500 but as always there are others that don’t make it for unknown reasons as well.
A look at the rosters and it’s really splitting hairs to say either squad has a decisive advantage. Both lineups are formidable and the respective pitching staffs are just as impressive.
With that said I would back the American League because I like their lineup a bit better. The unpredictability of this game says bet for fun and not for profit with anything being possible.
