Miller Park will come alive again on Saturday evening as the Los Angeles Dodgers take on the Milwaukee Brewers in MLB activity.
In the Friday opener, the Dodgers got hot in the last few innings, blasting their way to a 6-4 win despite some late life from Milwaukee.

For the Saturday game, the Dodgers will be going with Clayton Kershaw in the start. Over 75.2 innings and a 3-4 mark this year, Kershaw has a 2.74 ERA with 78 Ks and 17 BBs.
LA’s new toy on the roster is Manny Machado, who finished the first half with 115 hits, 48 runs, 24 homers and 65 RBI. On Friday, Machado had a pair of hits.
Over on the Brewers’ side, they’re sending out Chase Anderson on Saturday. Across 104.2 innings and a 6-7 record, Anderson has a 3.78 ERA with 81 Ks and 40 BBs.
Tops in hitting for the Brewers this year is Christian Yelich, with 93 hits, 60 runs, 11 homers and 43 RBI entering this set. In the opener, Yelich had three hits, three RBI and a triple.
The Dodgers are 61-19 in Kershaw’s last 80 starts and 20-7 in his last 27 starts in game two of a series. LA is also 24-9 in Kershaw’s last 33 Saturday starts and 43-19 in his last 62 road starts.
Meanwhile, the Brewers are 4-1 in their last five in game two of a series and 0-6 in their last six Saturday games. Milwaukee is also 8-1 in Anderson’s last nine starts in game two of a series and the over is 4-1-1 in their last six in game two of a series.
Kershaw has been quite good over his last handful of starts, and he’s allowed five earned in his last three outings across 18.2 innings. As for Anderson, he’s been pitching well with five earned over his last five starts—but just a 1-1 record in that time. The Brewers have to come up with some support offense here or they’re going to chalk up a loss. I don’t think they’ll quite get there so I’m going Dodgers. The under might be a good play as well if you can find a nice-looking number.
