The Boston Red Sox visit Camden Yards to oppose the Baltimore Orioles in a Monday MLB tilt.
The Boston Red Sox stayed hot with a 9-1 win at Detroit on Sunday to give the team wins in four of five. Boston starter Chris Sale improved to 11-4 with six scoreless frames where he struck out nine before three relievers finished off the Tigers.

The Red Sox did their damage on nine hits and a BB with Jackie Bradley Jr. going 2-4 with a homer and three RBI’s while Andrew Benintendi and Eduardo Nunez each knocked in two runs and scored.
The Red Sox give Monday’s starting assignment at Baltimore to Rick Porcello. Porcello comes off of a 13-7 loss versus Toronto with eight runs plated in two frames.
The Baltimore Orioles struggles continued with a 5-4 defeat at Toronto on Sunday as the team was swept in their first series after the All Star break. Baltimore starter Andrew Cashner allowed a run over 5.2 frames before Brad Brach gave up three 8th inning runs followed by Tanner Scott game in and surrendered a solo homer.
The Orioles banged out nine hits and walked once with Jonathan Schoop going 2-5 with a homer and two runs while Renato Nunez knocked in a run and scored.
Kevin Gausman toes the rubber against Boston Monday for the second time this season. Gausman dropped a 5-4 decision versus Philadelphia with all five runs scoring over five innings.
