The Astros logged nine hits and five walks with Alex Bregman smacking a two run double while JD Davis and George Springer each drove in a run and scored.

The Astros send Gerrit Cole to the mound to face Colorado for the first time this season. Cole comes off of a 9-1 win against Detroit where he allowed a run over 5.2 frames and struck out eight.

The Colorado Rockies have been one of the hottest teams in the game but saw a seven game win streak end in a 6-1 loss at Arizona on Sunday. Colorado starter Antonio Senzatela was charged with four runs over 5.1 innings to fall to 3-3 while Chris Rusin gave up a pair of runs without recording an out.

The Rockies offense consisted of three hits and a base on balls with Ian Desmond accounting for the scoring with his 19th long ball of the season in the 5th.

Tyler Anderson draws Tuesday’s start versus the Astros who he sees for the first time. Anderson defeated Seattle 4-3 last time out with two runs given up through six innings of work.

Under is 9-1 in Houston last 10 interleague games and under is 7-1-1 in Houston last 9 road games and Houston are 44-18 in their last 62 games on grass. Under is 9-1 in Colorado last 10 interleague home games and Colorado are 7-1 in their last 8 overall and Colorado are 7-1 in their last 8 games on grass. Over is 11-1 in the last 12 meetings in Colorado and over is 18-5 in the last 23 meetings.

Houston is a sizeable favorite but I think surging Colorado has a shot here the way Anderson has been throwing…
