The Astros logged nine hits and five walks with Alex Bregman smacking a two run double while JD Davis and George Springer each drove in a run and scored.
The Astros send Gerrit Cole to the mound to face Colorado for the first time this season. Cole comes off of a 9-1 win against Detroit where he allowed a run over 5.2 frames and struck out eight.
The Colorado Rockies have been one of the hottest teams in the game but saw a seven game win streak end in a 6-1 loss at Arizona on Sunday.
