The Chicago White Sox and Los Angeles Angels meet Tuesday in MLB action at Angel Stadium.

The Chicago White Sox look for a spark of consistency after splitting their last four games. The White Sox have scored 12 runs in their last three games and five or more runs in two of their last four games. The Chicago White Sox have won seven of their last 12 games when scoring more than two runs. Jose Abreu leads the White Sox with 95 hits and 54 RBI while Yolmer Sanchez and Tim Anderson have combined for 181 hits and 84 RBI. Carlos Rodon gets the ball, and he is 2-3 with a 3.56 ERA and 35 strikeouts this season. Rodon is 1-2 with a 4.11 ERA and 17 strikeouts in his career against the Angels.

Los Angeles Angels vs. Chicago White Sox - 7/24/18 MLB Pick, Odds, and Prediction

Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

The Los Angeles Angels could use a win here after losing three of their last four games. The Angels have allowed 17 runs in their last three games and three or more runs in 14 of their last 16 games. The Los Angeles Angels have lost eight of their last 12 games when allowing at least three runs. Offensively, Mike Trout leads the Angels with 106 hits and 53 RBI while Andrelton Simmons and Justin Upton have combined for 194 hits and 99 RBI. Felix Pena gets the ball, and he is 1-0 with a 3.42 ERA and 32 strikeouts this season. This will be Pena’s first career game against the White Sox.

The White Sox are 16-38 in their last 54 during game 2 of a series, 6-22 in their last 28 Tuesday games and 5-17 in Rodons last 22 road starts. The Angels are 7-19 in their last 26 games vs. a left-handed starter and 5-2 in their last 7 vs. American League Central. The White Sox are 5-21 in the last 26 meetings in Los Angeles, 3-8 in the last 11 meetings and the under is 9-4-1 in the last 14 meetings.

There's no way you can watch the Los Angeles Angels right now and think they should be laying such heavy juice. The Angels get little to no consistent production outside of Trout, and while Pena has been decent this season, he's allowing a 4.76 ERA and a .257 batting average at home. Rodon has allowed just eight hits and two runs in his last 13.1 innings and has done a better job of missing bats as well. While the White Sox aren't world beaters obviously, they have the value with the big plus money. I'm not backing the Angels as heavy favorites they don't deserve to be.
