Safeco Field and the Seattle Mariners welcome the San Francisco Giants to town for a Tuesday MLB bout.
The San Francisco Giants hot streak is over with the team dropping four of five following a 6-5, ten inning loss at Oakland on Sunday. San Francisco starter Johnny Cueto allowed four runs on three homers over seven frames with Ty Blach giving up a run in the 10th to get the loss.

The Giants banged out nine hits and walked once with Andrew McCutchen going solo while Pablo Sandoval smacked a pinch hit, two run double. San Francisco saw Austin Slater go 3-4 with an RBI and run followed by Nick Hundley who scored twice.
Andrew Suarez toes the rubber at Seattle in interleague action on Tuesday. Suarez comes off of a 6-2 loss to Oakland where he was charged with four runs over five frames.
The Seattle Mariners are trying to get hot again and might be heading in that direction after an 8-2 win versus the White Sox on Sunday gave the team wins in two of three. Seattle starter Marco Gonzales allowed both runs over 6.1 innings before four relievers put up zeros.
The Mariners offense consisted of seven hits and five free passes with Ryon Healy going 3-4 with a pair of long balls and six RBI’s while Kyle Seager drove in a run and scored twice followed by Mitch Haniger with a pair of runs.
James Paxton looks to end a two game skid when he faces visiting San Francisco on Tuesday. Paxton suffered an 11-2 defeat at the LA Angels last time out with three runs allowed in 2/3 of an inning.
Under is 10-2 in San Francisco last 12 road games and San Francisco are 2-6 in their last 8 Tuesday games and under is 16-7-1 in San Francisco last 24 on grass. Seattle are 24-8 in their last 32 home games and Seattle are 12-4 in their last 16 Tuesday games and over is 56-26-4 in Seattle last 86 Tuesday games. San Francisco are 3-9 in the last 12 meetings in Seattle and San Francisco are 5-11 in the last 16 meetings.
San Francisco has not been at their best but I think there is value on the Giants with Paxton looking a bit vulnerable…
