Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports

For the Wednesday game, the Red Sox will be sending out lefty David Price. In his 114.1 innings and 11-6 mark this year, Price has a 4.17 ERA with 114 Ks and 35 BBs.

The Red Sox’ lead hitter this year is JD Martinez, who came into Tuesday on 117 hits, 72 runs, 29 homers and 82 RBI. In game two, Martinez hit a homer with three RBI and two runs.

As for the Orioles, they’re rolling with Dylan Bundy on Wednesday. Across 108.1 innings and a 6-9 mark this season, Bundy has a 4.57 ERA with 116 Ks and 35 BBs.

Baltimore’s top hitter this year is Adam Jones, with 108 hits, 39 runs, 10 homers and 37 RBI coming into game two. On Tuesday, Jones had a hit and an RBI.

The Red Sox are 20-6 in their last 26 Wednesday games and 38-13 in their last 51 in game three of a series. Boston is 11-2 in Price’s last 13 starts and 5-1 in his last six starts versus the AL East.

Meanwhile, the Orioles are 7-24 in their last 31 in game three of a series and 1-4 in their last five Wednesday games. Baltimore is 3-13 in Bundy’s last 16 starts versus the AL East and 2-5 in his last seven home starts.

Price has been solid this year when he plays just about anyone (except the Yankees), and is sitting on two straight quality starts. As for Bundy, he’s coughed up five earned in each of his last three starts in a span of 12.1 innings. I can’t think of a whole lot of reasons not to take the Sox here.
