The Washington Nationals continue their visit with the Miami Marlins in Saturday MLB action.

The Nationals racked up 16 hits and five walks with Juan Soto going 3-5 with a homer, three RBI’s and two runs while Bryce Harper and Matt Adams each knocked in a pair and scored.
Left hander Gio Gonzalez toes the rubber versus the Marlins who he faces for the second time in 2018. Gonzalez comes in off of a 6-1 loss at Milwaukee where he was charged with five runs in 5.2 frames.
The Miami Marlins never got anything going at the plate and on the mound in Friday’s loss to visiting Washington. Miami starter Pablo Lopez was charged with four runs over 5.2 frames with Javy Guerra giving up five runs in an inning.
The Marlins offense mustered three hits and a base on balls with Martin Prado going 2-3 and driving in Starlin Castro. No Miami player was able to reach base twice.
The Marlins send Trevor Richards to the mound to face the visiting Nationals for the second time. Richards comes off of a 6-4 loss (ND) at Tampa Bay with a run plated through 6.2 innings of work.
Under is 10-4 in Washington last 14 Saturday games and Washington are 6-14 in their last 20 road games and under is 51-22-6 in Washington last 79 road games. Under is 4-0 in Richards' last 4 starts with 5 days of rest and under is 4-1 in Richards' last 5 home starts. Washington are 22-7 in the last 29 meetings and under is 18-7-2 in the last 27 meetings in Miami.
The way the Nationals have been piling up the runs says the team might make one last run in the NL East so I’m backing them here…
