Miami gives Tuesday’s starting assignment at Atlanta to Dan Straily. Straily comes in off of a 10-3 loss to the Nationals with three runs given up on five hits and three BB including two homers over 5.2 innings.
The Atlanta Braves will be gunning for a 2-0 series lead against Miami after Monday’s victory. Atlanta starter Julio Teheran gave up all three runs on three hits and four BB over five innings to get the win while four relievers put up zeros.
The Braves did their damage on six hits and three free passes with Ronald Acuna Jr. and Freddie Freeman clubbing solo jacks while Johan Camargo drove in a run and scored followed by Tyler Flowers with two runs.
The Braves have called up Kolby Allard from the minors to make his major league debut. Allard has made 18 starts at AAA and has a 6-4 record with a 2.80 ERA.
Over is 7-0-1 in Straily’s last 8 Tuesday starts and Miami are 2-8 in Strailys last 10 starts on grass and Miami are 3-8 in Straily’s last 11 starts. Over is 6-2 in Atlanta last 8 Tuesday games and Atlanta are 3-8 in their last 11 home games. Over is 40-18-3 in the last 61 meetings.
I really don’t know what we’ll see from Allard but he had good numbers in the minors. This might be one to just watch…
