The Kansas City Royals begin a road series with the Chicago White Sox in Tuesday MLB.
The Kansas City Royals have shown some life the past few weeks but dropped three of four to the Yankees this weekend following a 6-3 defeat on Sunday. Burch Smith absorbed the loss with five runs scoring on five hits and three BB over four frames.

The Royals attack consisted of six hits and a walk with Rosell Herrera, Salvador Perez and Hunter Dozier clubbing solo home runs.
The Royals send Danny Duffy to the mound in the series opener at the White Sox. Duffy struggled last time out in an 8-4 loss to Detroit with seven runs plated on nine hits and two BB over 5.2 frames.
The Chicago White Sox have been struggling on the mound in 2018 and those struggles have been the reason the team has lost four of five. Chicago comes off of a 7-4 defeat to Toronto where starter Carlos Rodon allowed two runs over 7.2 frames before Jace Fry and Jeanmar Gomez combined to allow five runs in the 9th.
