For the Wednesday game, the Indians will be sending out RHP Carlos Carrasco. In his 115.2 innings and 12-5 record this year, Carrasco has a 3.89 ERA with 128 Ks and 26 BBs.

Leading the way for the Indians offense is Francisco Lindor, who came into game two on 124 hits, 90 runs, 27 homers and 67 RBI. On Tuesday, Lindor had two hits and two runs.

As for the Twins, they’re rolling with Adalberto Meija on Wednesday. Across 12.1 innings and a 1-0 mark this season, Meija has a 3.65 ERA with eight Ks and five walks.

Entering Tuesday’s matchup, Eddie Rosario had a firm hold on the Twins’ top offensive spot with 128 hits, 69 runs, 19 homers and 64 RBI. In game two, Rosario logged an 0-for-5 line.

The Indians are 20-6 in their last 26 Wednesday games and 29-11 in their last 40 in game three of a series. Cleveland is 37-16 in Carrasco’s last 53 starts and 38-18 in his last 56 road starts.

Meanwhile, the Twins are 3-7 in their last 10 Wednesday games and 1-4 in Meija’s last five starts in game three of a series. Minnesota is also 2-6 in Meija’s last eight starts on grass and the over is 5-1 in their last six in game three of a series.

Carrasco has looked pretty darn good over his last three starts, giving up a total of four earned in 18.0 innings. As for Meija, he’s been choppy as a starter but did pitch well in Toronto his last time in that role (one earned; 5.1 innings; eight hits). Regardless, it’s going to be a heavy bullpen day for the Twins, which opens up the door for a Cleveland win.
