The Pirates pounded out eleven hits and walked five times with Colin Moran and Gregory Polanco each drove in a run and scored while Corey Dickerson and Josh Bell recorded RBI’s.
The Pirates send veteran Ivan Nova to the hill at San Francisco Thursday. Nova absorbed an 8-4 loss at St. Louis last time out with four runs given up on eight hit and three BB in four innings.
