David Kohl-USA TODAY Sports

For the Tuesday game, the Indians will be going with RHP Corey Kluber. In his 161.0 innings and 14-6 record this year, Kluber has a 2.74 ERA with 153 Ks and 20 BBs.

Tops in hitting for the Indians this year is Francisco Lindor, who came into this set on 139 hits, 99 runs, 29 homers and 74 RBI. On Monday, Lindor had two hits and two runs.

Over on the Reds’ side, they’re going with Sal Romano in the Tuesday game. Across 122.0 innings and a 7-9 mark this season, Romano has a 4.94 ERA with 87 Ks and 45 BBs.

Scooter Gennett had a slim lead on the rest of the Reds batters entering this set on 132 hits, 67 runs, 17 homers and 68 RBI. On Monday, Gennett hit a solo homer.

The Indians are 21-8 in Kluber’s last 29 road starts and 51-22 in his last 73 starts. Cleveland is 35-16 in Kluber’s last 51 starts with four days’ rest and 1-4 in his last five starts versus the NL Central.

Meanwhile, the Reds are 4-1 in their last five in game two of a series and 4-0 in Romano’s last four Tuesday starts. Cincinnati is also 4-1 in Romano’s last five home starts and 4-1 in his last five starts overall.

After two straight quality starts with one earned across 16.1 innings, Kluber put up 7.0 innings with four earned his last time out. As for Romano, he’s going off one earned on two hits in 6.0 innings against the Mets, and has been pitching well lately aside from a hiccup in Detroit. All things considered though, I have to go Indians here—even though the line is really thick.
