The Astros are 37-16 in their last 53 during game 2 of a series, 1-9 in their last 10 home games and 7-1 in their last 8 Tuesday games. The Athletics are 9-19 in the last 28 meetings in Houston, 17-35 in the last 52 meetings and the over is 4-1-1 in the last 6 meetings.
I'm not trying to lay that big price with the Astros given just how consistent the A's have been in the second half and usually bounce back nicely from a loss. However, I'm not backing Jackson on the road against this Houston offense. Instead, I'm siding with the over. This total seems a bit low given just how deadly these offenses are and the constant threat of instant offense. Nearly everybody in each lineup has homerun potential. I like the over in this spot.
