The Miami Marlins rode some late offense to down the NY Mets 5-3 on Tuesday. Miami starter Jose Uren gave up a run in 6.1 frames to get the win while Drew Steckenrider served up a two run homer in the 9th.

The Marlins did their damage on seven hits and two BB with JT Riddle going solo while Lewis Brinson knocked in two followed by Brian Anderson with an RBI and two runs.
Jeff Brigham makes his second career start at the NY Mets on Wednesday. Brigham dropped his debut 6-1 against Toronto with three runs scoring over three frames.
The New York Mets once again failed to score for Jacob deGrom who allowed just two runs over seven innings and dropped to 8-9. New York saw Anthony Swarzak and Robert Gsellman give up three combined runs to put the game out of reach.
