The Rockies amassed 16 hits and four walks with Nolan Arenado going 2-5 with a homer and two runs while Trevor Story went 2-5 with two RBI’s and three runs. Colorado saw David Dahl log three hits and two RBI’s while Charlie Blackmon drove in a pair.

Colorado sends right hander Tyler Anderson to the mound to oppose San Francisco. Anderson comes off of a 9-6 loss to the Dodgers with four runs plated over 2.2 frames.

The slumping San Francisco Giants are mired in an eleven game slide following a 2-1 defeat to visiting Atlanta on Wednesday. San Francisco starter Derek Holland allowed a run over six innings with Will Smith giving up a 9th inning run to absorb the loss.

The Giants offense consisted of seven hits and seven bases on balls with Evan Longoria driving in Joe Panik who had three singles.
