The Baltimore Orioles host the Chicago White Sox in Saturday MLB action.
The Chicago White Sox starting pitching got the job done in an 8-6 win at Baltimore on Friday. Chicago starter James Shields gave up two runs in six frames to get the win while Aaron Bummer was charged with three runs in 1/3 of an inning.

The White Sox banged out nine hits and six walks with Ryan Cordell going solo with Avisail Garcia going deep, driving in two and scoring twice followed by Omar Narvaez with a two run jack.
The White Sox send Reynaldo Lopez to the mound at Camden Yards. Lopez did not receive a decision in a 1-0 loss to the LA Angels with six shutout frames.
The Baltimore Orioles struggled on the mound and their late rally fell short in Friday’s loss to visiting Chicago. Baltimore starter Luis Ortiz gave up three runs in 1.2 innings with Jimmy Yacabonis allowing four runs in three frames.
The Orioles logged eight hits and four bases on balls with Trey Mancini clubbing a pair of solo homers while Corban Joseph knocked in two runs and scored.
Please check back when Baltimore names a starter although I see Yefry Ramrez popping up in a few spots.
Chicago are 1-7 in their last 8 overall and are 1-7 in their last 8 games on grass and are 12-5 in their last 17 road games. Baltimore are 25-70 in their last 95 overall and under is 5-2-1 in Baltimore last 8 Saturday games and Baltimore are 15-37 in their last 52 Saturday games. Chicago are 2-6 in the last 8 meetings in Baltimore and over is 5-2-1 in the last 8 meetings in Baltimore.
I’m going to back the red hot Lopez and hope the bullpen doesn’t blow it…
