Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports

Miami will be going with Jose Urena on Sunday. Across 157.1 innings and a 6-12 mark this year, Urena has a 4.29 ERA with 122 Ks and 45 BBs.

Tops in hitting for the Marlins this year is Starlin Castro, who entered the weekend on 156 hits, 72 runs, 11 homers and 51 RBI. On Saturday, Castro logged an 0-for-4 outing.

For the Sunday game, the Phillies will be sending out Nick Pivetta. In his 149.1 innings and 7-12 mark this year, Pivetta has a 4.64 ERA with 173 Ks.

Cesar Hernandez is the leading Phillies hitter this season, and he came into game two on 141 hits, 84 runs, 11 homers and 49 RBI. On Saturday, Hernandez ripped a three-run homer.

The Marlins are 10-21 in their last 31 in game three of a series and 1-4 in their last five Sunday games. Miami is 4-9 in Urena’s last 13 road starts and 3-7 in his last 10 starts in game three of a series.

Meanwhile, the Phillies are 1-4 in their last five Sunday games and 0-4 in their last four in game three of a series. The over is 5-0-1 in the Phillies’ last six Sunday games and the under is 4-0 in the Marlins’ last four in game three of a series.

Urena has put up some pretty good numbers lately after something of a bad run. In his last four starts, he’s got three quality outings and one complete game. Across his last pair, he’s allowed two earned on eight hits in 13.1 innings—with one of those being against the Phillies. I’m sticking with Urena here so I’ll take the Marlins.
