The Cincinnati Reds and Milwaukee Brewers meet Monday in MLB action at Miller Park.

The Cincinnati Reds could use a victory here after splitting their last 10 games. The Reds have scored four runs in their last three games and three or less runs in their last five games. The Cincinnati Reds have lost seven of their last nine games when scoring three or less runs. Scooter Gennett leads the Reds with 174 hits and 88 RBI while Jose Peraza and Eugenio Suarez have combined for 312 hits and 155 RBI. Anthony DeSclafani gets the ball, and he is 7-5 with a 4.80 ERA and 87 strikeouts this season. DeSclafani is 3-2 with a 4.62 ERA and 33 strikeouts in his career against the Brewers.

Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports

The Milwaukee Brewers look to stay hot after winning 11 of their last 16 games. The Brewers have scored 10 runs in their last three games and four or more runs in 10 of their last 14 games. The Milwaukee Brewers have won six straight games when scoring more than two runs. Christian Yelich leads the Brewers with 166 hits and 89 RBI while Lorenzo Cain and Jesus Aguilar have combined for 277 hits and 135 RBI. Wade Miley gets the ball, and he is 4-2 with a 2.23 ERA and 45 strikeouts this season. Miley is 4-2 with a 3.14 ERA and 53 strikeouts in his career against the Reds.

The Reds are 6-20 in their last 26 road games, 1-4 in their last 5 during game 1 of a series and 7-2 in DeSclafanis last 9 starts. The Brewers are 5-0 in their last 5 Monday games, 4-1 in their last 5 home games and 4-0 in Mileys last 4 starts. The Reds are 1-4 in the last 5 meetings in Milwaukee, 4-11 in the last 15 meetings and the under is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings in Milwaukee.

Instead of laying pricey juice with the Brewers, I'm going to side with the under in this game. DeSclafani has been rather solid as of late, allowing three or less runs in six of his last 10 starts and having better numbers across the board on the road than at home. Miley has allowed two or less runs in eight of his last 10 starts and has been a ground ball machine for much of those performances. The under is also a popular trend for these teams, which includes being 4-1 in the Brewers last five games overall. I'll take the under in what should be a low scoring contest.
