The Washington Nationals continue their series at the Miami Marlins in a Tuesday MLB matchup.
The Washington Nationals struggled on the mound Monday in an 8-5 defeat at Miami. Washington starter Erick Fedde gave up two runs over 4.1 frames while Jimmy Cordero and Koda Glover combined to give up five runs.

The Nationals managed seven hits and a pair of BB with Victor Robles going solo while Anthony Rendon went 3-4 with a homer, two RBI’s and two runs followed by Trea Turner knocked n a run and scored.
Stephen Strasburg gets Tuesday’s road start at the Marlins. Strasburg comes off of a 5-1 victory at Philadelphia where he gave up a run and struck out nine over seven frames.
The Miami Marlins came alive at the plate to outscore Washington on Monday. Miami starter Trevor Richards was charged with four runs allowed in five frames before five relievers slowed the Nationals offense.
The Marlins posted nine hits and walked six times with Starlin Castro going 2-4 with a homer and three RBI’s while Magneuris drove in two and scored followed by Lewis Brinson and Miguel Rojas with each driving in a run and scoring.
The Marlins have tabbed Sandy Alcantara for Tuesday’s start versus Washington. Alcantara did not receive a decision in a 4-3 loss at the Mets last time out with two runs allowed in seven innings.
