The Milwaukee Brewers and the Los Angeles Dodgers will be meeting up for Game 4 of the MLB National League Championship Series on Tuesday from Dodgers Stadium.

The two teams split the first two games of this set, with the Brewers taking a 6-5 win in Game 1 and LA striking back 4-3 in Game 2. In Monday’s Game 3, Milwaukee avoided some ninth-inning trouble and came out with a 4-0 shutout.

For Tuesday’s game, the Brewers will be going with LHP Gio Gonzalez as the starter. Across 171.0 innings and a 10-11 mark in the regular season, Gonzalez put up a 4.21 ERA.

Coming out of the weekend, Ryan Braun and Travis Shaw were tied for the Brewers’ playoff hits lead with six apiece, and two runs, a homer and four RBI between them. In Game 3, Braun had a hit and an RBI; Shaw had a hit and a run.

Over on the Dodgers’ side, they’re going with LHP Rich Hill on Tuesday. In the regular season, Hill put up 132.2 innings with an 11-5 record and a 3.66 ERA.

LA’s top postseason hitter coming into Game 3 was Justin Turner, with seven hits, three runs, a homer and three RBI. On Monday, Turner posted a hit.

The Brewers are 19-9 in their last 28 Tuesday games and 3-6 in their last nine playoff road games. Milwaukee is 36-17 in their last 53 overall and 3-6 in their last eight NLCS games.

Meanwhile, the Dodgers are 4-0 in Hill’s last four starts versus the NL Central and 5-1 in his last six home starts. LA is 7-3 in Hill’s last 10 starts versus a team with a winning record and 6-0 in his last six starts on grass.

Hill’s last appearance in the NLDS Game 4 in Atlanta was a little sketchy, but he got himself out of trouble for the most part by allowing two runs in 4.1 innings alongside five walks. Across his two starts against the Brew Crew this year, Hill has allowed one earned run in six innings in both games.

Gonzalez started Game 1 at Miller park, going two innings and giving up a homer. He’ll come out here on short rest.

I like Hill to come out strong again here, so I’m going to go with the Dodgers for the Game 4 win.
