The Dodgers offense consisted of five hits and a pair of bass on balls with David Freese clubbing a solo homer in the first for a short lived lead while cracking a run scoring double that plated Brian Dozier.
The Dodgers are sending right hander Walker Buehler to the mound for his third start of the 2018 playoffs. Buehler has given up nine runs through 12 innings of work.
The Milwaukee Brewers forced a game seven in the NLCS with a 7-2 victory in game six on Friday. Milwaukee starter Wade Miley gave up both runs over 4.1 frames with Corey Knebel getting the win while Corbin Burnes tossed two scoreless innings.
The Brewers racked up eleven hits and walked six times with Jesus Aguilar going 3-4 with three RBI’s and two runs while Mike Moustakas and Ryan Braun each driving in a run and scoring followed by Lorenzo Cain with two hits and two runs.
Jhoulys Chacin toes the rubber against the Dodgers for the second time in the NLCS. Chacin has made two postseason appearances in 2018 and has not allowed a run over 10.1 innings.
LA Dodgers are 20-7 in their last 27 overall and are 20-7 in their last 27 games on grass. Milwaukee are 2-6 in their last 8 Saturday games and are 7-3 in their last 10 playoff home games and are 52-25 in their last 77 home games. Under is 3-1-1 in the last 5 meetings and LA Dodgers are 5-3 in the last 8 meetings.
Chacin has been the Brewers best pitcher and everyone in the bullpen is available so I expect Milwaukee to pitch and hit their way to the World Series…
