The Boston Red Sox and the Los Angeles Dodgers meet in game four of the World Series from Dodger Stadium in MLB action on Saturday.

The Boston Red Sox will look to bounce back after a heartbreaking 3-2 loss in an 18-inning marathon in game three on Friday. Jackie Bradley Jr. had a solo home run, while Sandy Leon had a double and Eduardo Nunez went 2 for 4 in a pinch-hit role. Brock Holt and Christian Vazquez each had a base hit in the losing effort for the BoSox. Nathan Eovaldi threw six innings of relief but took the loss after giving up the walk-off home run in the 18th. Eduardo Rodriguez will start game four and is 0-0 with a 6.23 ERA and 5 strikeouts this postseason. This will be Rodriguez's second career start against the Dodgers.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Boston Red Sox - 10/27/18 MLB Pick, Odds, and Prediction

Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

The Los Angeles Dodgers will look to even up the series at one win apiece following their walk-off win on Friday. Joc Pederson belted a solo home run while Max Muncy went 2 for 6 with a double and  walk-off home run. Justin Turner went 2 for 8 with a double and Yasiel Puig had two hits while Manny Machado, Cody Bellinger, Yasmani Grandal and Enrique Hernandez each had base hits in the win. Alex Wood picked up the win after tossing a scoreless 18th inning. Rich Hill will start game four and is 0-0 with a 2.61 ERA and 10 strikeouts this postseason. This will be Hill’s second career start against Boston.

Boston is 14-3 in their last 17 World Series games and 66-30 in their last 96 games overall while the under is 6-2 in their last 8 World Series road games. Los Angeles is 7-0 in Hill’s last 7 starts and 22-10 in their last 32 games overall while the under is 9-1-2 in their last 12 playoff home games. Boston is 9-4 in the last 13 meetings between these two teams.

Who knows what we are going to see in this one as Boston had to burn their projected game 4 starter in Eovaldi and had to play an extra full game on Sunday. If Boston pulled it out on Friday I was going to potentially side with the Red Sox, but on a quick turnaround, with the momentum of a walk-off win, I think this is a completely new series and I’ll side with the Dodgers to make it a best-of-3 with a win on Saturday.
