The Line: Samsung Lions +160 / Kiwoom Heroes -200 -- Over/Under: 9

The Kiwoom Heroes and Samsung Lions meet Thursday morning in South Korea KBO baseball action.

The Kiwoom Heroes drop to 6-2 in regular season action after getting shutout and putting together just two hits. The Kiwoom Heroes have now failed to score a run in each of their last 11 games. In the loss, Seo Keon-chang and Park Joon-tae combined for two hits while Choi Won-tae allowed four runs and four hits in 7.1 innings of work. The Kiwoom Heroes have scored three runs and put together nine hits in their last two games overall. Lee Seung-ho gets the ball tonight for the Kiwoom Heroes.

The Samsung Lions are now 3-5 in the regular season and are coming off their bet performance yet. Two of the Samsung Lions three victories this season have been shutouts. In the victory, Lee Sung-gyu and Lee Hak-ju combined for three hits and two RBI while David Buchanan allowed zero runs and two hits while striking out eight in seven innings of work. The Samsung Lions have allowed one or less runs in each of their last 20 innings. Choi Chae-heung gets the ball tonight for the Samsung Lions.

The Kiwoom Heroes have won six of the last nine meetings against the Lions and eight of the last 13 meetings. Eight of the last 10 meetings between the Heroes and Lions produced single digit run totals.

The Kiwoom Heroes have controlled this series in the last several meetings and have been the better team overall, but these prices aren't cheap, and I'm not thrilled about laying these prices with a team that was just shutout. The Samsung Lions have some value as a big dog based on what they just did yesterday. With all that said, I'm leaning toward the under in this spot. Not only are we laying much lower juice, but we're also backing the trend of eight of the last 10 meetings between the Heroes and Lions producing dingle digit run totals.

Give me the under in the rubber game of this series.
