The Line: Lotte Giants +100 / Hanwha Eagles -130 -- Over/Under: 8.5
The Hanwha Eagles and Lotte Giants meet Saturday morning in South Korea KBO baseball action.
The Hanwha Eagles have won their last two games while allowing a combined two runs and 13 hits. The Hanwha Eagles have allowed four or less runs in each of their last four games, which are clear signs of a turnaround. In their last effort, Ha Ju-suk and Lee Sung-yeol combined for four hits and two RBI while Kim Ee-whan allowed one run and seven hits in six innings of work. The Hanwha Eagles have still failed to win 15 of their last 19 games overall. Warwick Saupold gets the ball tonight for the Hanwha Eagles.
The Lotte Giants could use a bounce back victory after losing three of their last four games. The Lotte Giants went from being the hottest offensive team in the league to scoring just one run in their last 10 innings. In their last outing, Jung Hoon and Lee Dae-ho combined for three hits and one RBI while Dan Straily allowed two runs and seven hits in 4.1 innings of work. The Lotte Giants haven’t lost three straight games since the end of last years regular season. Noh Kyung-eun gets the ball tonight for the Lotte Giants.
The Hanwha Eagles have won six of the last 11 meetings again the Lotte Giants, and the last four meetings have been split down the middle as well. Five of the last 11 meetings have produced double-digit run totals.
Right when it looked like the Hanwha Eagles were never going to turn things around, they win back-to-back games and put together some impressive pitching performances against good teams. The Lotte Giants have returned some of the profit we've made on them over these last few weeks and it was only a matter of time before the offense had a cold night.
With all that said, we've made killings fading the Hanwha Eagles since the preseason and blindly backing the Lotte Giants since the preseason. A couple recent games shouldn't force you to change paths. I'm still riding with the Lotte Giants.
