The Line: LG Twins -125 / Samsung Lions -105 -- Over/Under: 9.5

The Samsung Lions and LG Twins meet Tuesday morning in South Korea KBO baseball action.

The Samsung Lions could use a win after losing five of their last seven games and are fresh off getting swept by the KT Wiz Suwon. The Samsung Lions have allowed 33 runs and 32 hits in their last three games and have allowed five or more runs in each of their last four games overall. In their last outing, Kim Dong-yeop and Park Gye-beom combined for three hits and two RBI while Ben Lively allowed two runs and three hits in one inning of work. The Samsung Lions have lost 11 of their last 15 games overall.

The LG Twins look to keep the ball rolling after winning six of their last seven games and taking two of three from the Kiwoom Heroes. The LG Twins pitching staff has allowed three or less runs in four of their last five games. In their last effort, Hong Chang-gi and Kim Yong-yi combined for one hit and two RBI while Cha Woo-chan allowed five runs and nine hits in four innings of work. The LG Twins have won nine of their last 13 games overall.

The LG Twins have won seven of the last 11 games against the Samsung Lions but have lost three of the last five meetings overall. Each of the last five meetings between the Lions and Twins have produced single-digit run totals.

The Samsung Lions are just in terrible form right now, as they not only get swept by the KT Wiz Suwon, but the pitching staff got rocked left and right in the process. There's getting swept and there's getting demolished, the type of that series that could carryover to the next. The LG Twins have been one of the more underrated teams out of the gate and that pitching staff is starting to come along. The LG Twins have also owned the Samsung Lions in past meetings.

While form can change in baseball quickly, I'm backing the LG Twins in game one of this series.

Randy’s Pick LG Twins -125
