The Line: Lotte Giants -125 / KIA Tigers -105 -- Over/Under: 10.5
The KIA Tigers and Lotte Giants meet Tuesday morning in South Korea KBO baseball action.
The KIA Tigers could use a feel good win after losing three of their last four games. The KIA Tigers lost two of three to the Doosan Bears and are coming off a loss where they scored just one run in the first eight innings. In the losing effort, Kim Sun-bin and Preston Tucker combined for one hit and two RBI while Aaron Brooks allowed five runs and 11 hits in 5.1 innings of work. The KIA Tigers are allowing an average of 7.6 runs per game in their last three contests.
The Lotte Giants could use a win after losing four of their last six games. The Lotte Giants lost two of three against the Hanwha Eagles and are fresh off a frustrating extra innings loss. In the losing effort, Jeon Jun-woo and Han Dong-hee combined for two hits and three RBI while Lee Seung-heon allowed three runs and one hit in 2.1 innings of work. The Lotte Giants have scored four or more runs in 10 of their first 11 regular season games.
The KIA Tigers have won three straight against the Lotte Giants and six of the last eight meetings overall. Six of the last eight meetings between the Tigers and Giants have produced single-digit run totals.
The KIA Tigers have owned the h2h history as of late so they're probably the right side here, but they've been a tough team to figure out all regular season and they're fresh off a series where the pitching staff got rocked pretty good. The Lotte Giants are a team we've backed a ton since the start of the preseason, and while they're in a bit of a funk right now, the offense continues to produce and they're still 7-4 on the season. The Lotte Giants have played the better baseball between the two teams and baseball is one of those sports where you can't panic after a bad series or two.
Give me the Lotte Giants.
