The SK Wyverns and KIA Tigers meet Saturday morning in South Korea KBO baseball action.
The SK Wyverns could use a feel good victory after losing 12 of their last 13 games. The SK Wyverns scored just one run and six hits in their last game and have scored five or less runs in seven of their last nine games. In their last effort, Choi Jeong and Nam Tae-hyuk combined for two hits and one RBI while Kim Joo-han allowed one run and four hits in four innings of work. The SK Wyverns have lost 17 of their last 19 games overall. Kim Tae-hoon gets the ball tonight for the SK Wyverns.
The KIA Tigers look for another win to build on their four-game winning streak. The KIA Tigers pitching staff has been shutting things down lately, allowing two runs and 16 hits in their last three games. In their last effort, Choi Hyung-woo and Kim Sun-bin combined for two hits and two RBI while Yang Hyun-jong allowed one run and four hits in six innings of work. The KIA Tigers have won eight of their last 11 games overall. Aaron Brooks gets the ball tonight for the KIA Tigers.
The KIA Tigers have won seven of the last 11 meetings against the SK Wyverns. Nine of the last 12 meetings between the Wyverns and Tigers have produced single-digit run totals.
The SK Wyverns have been fade material for us for the last three weeks and that’s not going to change with them losing 17 of their last 19 games dating back to the preseason. The SK Wyverns have zero betting value and until they prove they can string a couple of wins together and actually look somewhat decent, that’s not going to change. The KIA Tigers pitching staff has also been lights out this week and are riding a rather impressive four-game winning streak. There’s also the one-sided h2h numbers that favor the KIA Tigers as well.
Only one way to go here for me, and that’s to continue fading the SK Wyverns.
