The Line: Hanwha Eagles +160 / NC Dinos -200 -- Over/Under: 9
The NC Dinos and Hanwha Eagles meet Saturday morning in South Korea KBO baseball action.
The NC Dinos look for a win after losing two of their last three games. The NC Dinos offense just couldn’t get going in Friday’s loss, and their pitching staff has allowed 11 runs and 19 hits in their last two games. In their latest effort, Park Suk-min and Kang Jin-sung combined for three hits and two RBI while Kim Young-gyu allowed five runs and six hits in five innings of work. The NC Dinos have won eight of their last 10 meetings overall. Drew Rucinski gets the ball tonight for the NC Dinos.
The Hanwha Eagles look for a win after splitting their last six games. The Hanwha Eagles have produced 14 runs and 20 hits in their last two games and have scored five or more runs in four of their last five games. In their last effort, Kim Moon-ho and Noh Si-hwan combined for four hits and five RBI while Warwick Saupold allowed three runs and six hits in six innings of work. The Hanwha Eagles have split their last 10 games overall. Kim Min-woo gets the ball tonight for the Hanwha Eagles.
The Hanwha Eagles have won five of the last six meetings against the NC Dinos, but the last 12 meetings have been split down the middle. Five of the last 11 meetings between the Dinos and Eagles have produced double-digit run totals.
The NC Dinos are starting to look a little human with losses in two of their last three games, but ups and downs happen throughout a baseball season, and they're still comfortably the best team so far this regular season with a 12-3 record. The Hanwha Eagles continue to be hit or miss with their 7-9 record, and they still have one of the worst offenses in the league.
A couple losses doesn't scare me. I look for the NC Dinos to bounce back in the win column based on what we've seen up to this point.
