LG Twins vs. Samsung Lions
KBO Baseball: Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at 5:30 am
The Line: Samsung Lions +175 / LG Twins -215 -- Over/Under: 9
The LG Twins and Samsung Lions meet Wednesday morning in South Korea KBO baseball action.
The LG Twins have lost two of their last three games and were just shutout last night in a game where they had five hits. The LG Twins have failed to score a run in each of their last 11 innings and have been held to zero runs in 13 of their last 15 innings. In their last effort, Lee Chun-woong and Kim Hyun-soo combined for two hits while Lee Min-ho allowed two runs and five hits in seven innings of work. The LG Twins have won 14 of their last 19 games overall. Casey Kelly gets the ball tonight for the LG Twins.
The Samsung Lions look to keep the ball rolling after winning five of their last six games. The Samsung Lions just pitched a shutout and have now allowed one or less runs in four of their last six games. In their latest effort, Kim Dong-yeop and Tyler Saladino combined for three hits and two RBI while Won Tae-in allowed zero runs and five hits in seven innings of work. The Samsung Lions have lost 11 of their last 20 games overall. Heo Yoon-dong gets the ball tonight for the Samsung Lions.
The LG Twins and Samsung Lions have split the last 10 meetings, and that includes splitting the first four games this year. Eight of the last nine meetings between the Twins and Lions have produced single-digit run totals.
The LG Twins have been the better team overall this season and should bounce back after being shutout last night, but these odds are disrespectful to what the Samsung Lions are doing lately. The Samsung Lions pitching staff has been dealing over the last week, allowing one or less runs in four of their last six games. If this continues, Samsung is a live dog in all of its games moving forward. The first four meetings between these clubs have also gone back and forth and have been tight for the most part.
I'll take a shot with the Samsung Lions and the big plus money.
