NC Dinos vs. Hanwha Eagles – 6/5/20 KBO Baseball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

2020-06-05 05:30:00 EDT

The Hanwha Eagles and NC Dinos meet Friday morning in South Korea KBO baseball action.

The Hanwha Eagles were just swept by the Kiwoom Heroes and are now riding a brutal 10-game losing streak. The Hanwha Eagles have allowed a combined 28 runs and 39 hits in their last three games. In their last effort, Noh Si-hwan and Choi Jae-hoon combined for two hits and two RBI while Kim Min-woo allowed four runs and eight hits in six innings of work. The Hanwha Eagles have lost 20 of their last 25 games overall. Jang Shi-hwan gets the ball tonight for the Hanwha Eagles.

The NC Dinos just took two of three from the SK Wyverns and have won three of their last four games overall. The NC Dinos are coming off a 10-0 blowout victory and have allowed zero runs in 14 of their last 16 innings. In their last effort, Na Sung-bum and Yang Eui-ji combined for three hits and seven RBI while Drew Rucinski allowed zero runs and five hits in six innings of work. The NC Dinos have won 16 of their last 21 games overall. Mike Wright gets the ball tonight for the NC Dinos.

The Hanwha Eagles and the NC Dinos have split their last 10 meetings, but it was the Dinos who took two of three in the earlier series this year. Six of the last seven meetings between the Eagles and Dinos have produced single-digit run totals.

We have a matchup between two teams that we’ve treated completely different, so the pick here shouldn’t surprise anybody. We’ve been blindly fading the Hanwha Eagles all season long and it’s paid off and then some, as they’ve lost 10 straight games and 20 of their last 25 games overall. We’ve also been blindly backing the NC Dinos, easily the best team in the league up to this point and a team that’s won 16 of their last 21 games overall. This pick kind of explains itself.

Of course, give me the NC Dinos, and I’ll take the RL to provide a better price over the expensive ML price.
