1998 was Mark McGwire’s best season in terms of home runs and slugging percentage. McGwire finished with a .7525 slugging percentage. 

9.Rogers Hornsby -.7560 slugging percentage

Rogers Hornsby is on this list because of his 1925 season. Hornsby hit 39 home runs for St. Louis that season and had a .7560 slugging percentage.

8.Babe Ruth -.7644 slugging percentage

During the 1923 season, Babe Ruth had 151 runs, 41 home runs, and 130 RBI’s All that success led to a slugging percentage of .7644.
