The NC Dinos and Hanwha Eagles meet Saturday morning in South Korea KBO baseball action.
The NC Dinos look for another win after losing five of their last eight games. The NC Dinos pitching staff has allowed five or more runs in seven of their last nine games. In their last effort, Kang Jin-sung and Kim Tae-goon combined for two hits and three RBI while Koo Chang-mo allowed one run and three hits in seven innings of work. The NC Dinos have won 23 of their last 33 games overall. Lee Jae-hak gets the ball tonight for the NC Dinos.
The Hanwha Eagles could use a feel good victory here to snap a four-game losing streak. The Hanwha Eagles pitching staff has allowed 28 runs and 48 hits in their last four games. In their last effort, Choi Jin-haeng and Noh Soo-kwang combined for two hits and one RBI while Kim Bum-soo allowed three runs and five hits in 4.1 innings of work. The Hanwha Eagles have lost 31 of their last 38 games overall. Warwick Saupold gets the ball tonight for the Hanwha Eagles.
The NC Dinos have won each of the last six meetings against the Hanwha Eagles and seven of the last 10 meetings overall. Four of the last five meetings between the Dinos and Eagles have produced double-digit run totals.
The Hanwha Eagles are a team we've been blindly fading all season long and there's no reason to turn back now considering they've lost four straight games and have won just two games since May 23. The Hanwha Eagles pitching staff gets rocked more times than not and they're just a club that plays poorly at an insane clip. The NC Dinos haven't been at their best over the last week or so, but they're still the best team in the league with the best pitching staff and the offense that's scored the most runs. We also have the h2h history that comfortably favors the NC Dinos.
As usual, give me the NC Dinos and the RL to shave down an expensive ML price. Backing the Hanwha Eagles is still not an option.
