The Doosan Bears and NC Dinos meet Friday morning in South Korea KBO baseball action at the Jamsil Baseball Stadium.
The Doosan Bears look for another victory after winning six of their last seven games and just taking two of three from the SK Wyverns. The Doosan Bears are coming off a shutout loss and have been scoreless in 10 of their last 12 innings. In their last effort, Choi Joo-hwan and Kim Jae-hwan combined for two hits while Lee Young-ha allowed four runs and eight hits in 5.1 innings of work. The Doosan Bears have won 10 of their last 17 games overall. Park Jong-gi gets the ball tonight for the Doosan Bears.
The NC Dinos look for a win after splitting their last four games and taking two of three games from the KT Wiz Suwon. The NC Dinos pitching staff has allowed five or more runs in 11 of their last 18 games. In their last effort, Na Sung-bum and Park Min-woo combined for one hit and four RBI while Koo Chang-mo allowed five runs and eight hits in four innings of work. The NC Dinos have split their last 14 games overall. Lee Jae-hak gets the ball tonight for the NC Dinos.
The NC Dinos have won four of the last six meetings against the Doosan Bears, which includes taking two of three games in the last series. Each of the last four meetings between the Dinos and Bears have produced double-digit run totals.
The NC Dinos have been good to us all season long and they're still the best team in the league, but there's no doubt that these have been an average last two weeks and it's getting to the point where you can find value betting against them. The Doosan Bears head into this series playing impressive baseball and they have the offensive firepower to give the NC Dinos a run for their money. The series earlier this month was tight and Doosan has to believe it did enough to even steal some of those games.
I'm going to back the Doosan Bears in game one of this series.
