Doosan Bears vs. Kiwoom Heroes – 7/1/20 KBO Baseball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Kiwoom Heroes and Doosan Bears meet Wednesday morning in South Korea KBO baseball action at the Gocheok Sky Dome.  

The Kiwoom Heroes look for another victory after winning 11 of their last 12 games and have won their last three meetings. The Kiwoom Heroes have scored no less than five runs in seven of their last nine games. In their last effort, Lee Jung-hoo and Park Dong-won combined for three hits and five RBI while Lee Seung-ho allowed one run and five hits in six innings of work. The Kiwoom Heroes have won 13 of their last 16 games overall. Han Hyun-hee gets the ball tonight for the Kiwoom Heroes.

The Doosan Bears need a win after losing four of their last five games. The Doosan Bears offense has produced a combined 17 runs and 36 hits in their last five games. In their last effort, Oh Jae-il and Kim Jae-hwan combined for three hits and two RBI while Yu Hui-kwan allowed four runs and six hits in five innings of work. The Doosan Bears have won 11 of their last 21 games overall. Lee Young-ha gets the ball tonight for the Doosan Bears.

The Doosan Bears have won six of the last 10 meetings against the Kiwoom Heroes, but they’ve lost two of the three meetings this year. Seven of the last 11 meetings between the Heroes and Bears have produced double-digit run totals.

The Doosan Bears have the offensive potential to break out of this funk, but they’re a tough sell in their current form where they’ve produced just two runs in their last 18 innings. The Doosan Bears have scored three or less runs in four of their last five games. The Kiwoom Heroes are the hottest team in the league with wins in 11 of their last 12 tries and an offense that can’t stop putting up crooked numbers. While things are going to cool off eventually, you should continue to back the Kiwoom Heroes until they give a reason not to.
