The KIA Tigers and Hanwha Eagles meet Thursday morning in South Korea KBO baseball action at the Gwangju Kia Champions Field.

The KIA Tigers look for another win after losing four of their last six games. The KIA Tigers pitching staff has allowed four or less runs in 10 of their last 13 games. In their last effort, Na Ji-wan and Oh Seon-woo combined for three hits and three RBI while Im Ki-young allowed two runs and seven hits in 5.1 innings of work. The KIA Tigers have won 10 of their last 16 games overall. Lee Min-woo gets the ball tonight for the KIA Tigers.

The Hanwha Eagles need a feel good victory to snap a three-game losing streak. The Hanwha Eagles pitching staff has allowed seven or more runs in seven of their last 13 games. In their last effort, Jung Eun-won and Song Kwang-min combined for four hits and two RBI while Jang Shi-hwan allowed one run and five hits in seven innings of work. The Hanwha Eagles have lost 19 of their last 24 games overall. Warwick Saupold gets the ball tonight for the Hanwha Eagles.

The KIA Tigers are 8-1-1 in their last 10 meetings against the Hanwha Eagles and are 3-1-1 in the five meetings this year. Five of the last 11 meetings between the Tigers and Eagles have produced double-digit run totals.

The Hanwha Eagles continue to pile up the losses and their pitching staff continues to not do them many favors. The Hanwha Eagles also can't be thrilled after blowing last nights game by allowing three runs in the final inning. Throw in the dominance the KIA Tigers have had over the Hanwha Eagles in the last 10 meetings and this game kind of feels like a no-brainer. However, Min-woo hasn't been good this season where he has a 5.12 ERA and 1.29 WHIP in 45.2 innings. Saupold has a much better 3.50 ERA and 1.37 WHIP in 64.1 innings and the Hanwha Eagles have won each of his last three starts.

I don't do this often, but I'll take a shot with the Hanwha Eagles in this spot.
