LG Twins vs. Doosan Bears – 7/7/20 KBO Baseball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

2020-07-07 05:30:00 EDT

The Doosan Bears and LG Twins meet Tuesday morning in South Korea KBO baseball action at the Jamsil Baseball Stadium.

The Doosan Bears need a win after losing six of their last 10 games, but they just took two of three games from the Hanwha Eagles. The Doosan Bears offense has produced double-digit runs in two of their last eight games. In their last effort, Hur Kyoung-min and Park Se-hyuk combined for eight hits and four RBI while Yu Hui-kwan allowed four runs and eight hits in six innings of work. The Doosan Bears have won 14 of their last 26 games overall. Lee Young-ha gets the ball tonight for the Doosan Bears.

The LG Twins need a victory here after losing four of their last five games and losing two of three to the Samsung Lions. The LG Twins pitching staff has allowed five or more runs in 10 of their last 16 games. In their last effort, Kim Hyun-soo and Kim Ho-eun combined for three hits and six RBI while Jung Chan-heon allowed two runs and seven hits in six innings of work. The LG Twins have lost 15 of their last 27 games overall. Cha Woo-chan gets the ball tonight for the LG Twins.

The Doosan Bears have won each of the last five meetings against the LG Twins, but the lat 12 meetings have been split down the middle. Four of the last six meetings between the Bears and Twins have produced double-digit run totals.

The LG Twins need more than one victory to prove they’ve righted the ship and there’s a lot of reason to be skeptical considering how the last five meetings against the Doosan Bears have played out. The Doosan Bears have won the last five meetings against the LG Twins and those games were won by an average of five runs. Neither of these pitchers have had success this season, so the edge also has to go to the Doosan Bears due to the better and more consistent offense.

I’ll gladly lay the cheap price with the Doosan Bears in this spot.
