The Samsung Lions and Hanwha Eagles meet Wednesday morning in South Korea KBO baseball action at the Daegu Samsung Lions Park.

The Samsung Lions need a victory here to snap a four-game losing streak. The Samsung Lions have allowed five or less runs in 18 of their last 33 games. In their latest effort, Lee Sung-gon and Song Jun-seok combined for two hits and three RBI while David Buchanan allowed six runs and nine hits in five innings of work. The Samsung Lions have won 22 of their last 39 games overall. Won Tae-in gets the ball tonight for the Samsung Lions.

The Hanwha Eagles need a win after not winning a game since July 16. The Hanwha Eagles pitching staff has allowed five or more runs in 13 of their last 18 games. In their last effort, Ha Ju-suk and Choi Jae-hoon combined for two hits and four RBI while Chad Bell allowed two runs and six hits in five innings of work. The Hanwha Eagles have lost 34 of their last 45 games overall. Kim Bum-soo gets the ball tonight for the Hanwha Eagles.

The Hanwha Eagles and Samsung Lions have split the last eight meetings, but the Lions have won eight of the last 12 meetings. Seven of the last 12 meetings between the Lions and Eagles have produced double-digit run totals.

The Samsung Lions shouldn't be laying these sort of prices out there given that they're riding a four-game losing streak. This line simply shows just how poor the Hanwha Eagles are and the lack of confidence oddsmakers have in a team that hasn't won a game in two weeks. Bum-soo is also a struggling pitcher with a 4.29 ERA and 1.59 WHIP in 50.1 innings, and he's coming off a game where he allowed five runs and seven hits in 3.2 innings. The Lions have their issues going on obviously, but nothing equals to what the Hanwha Eagles have gone through all season. There's been no betting value on the Hanwha Eagles for ages and that continues.

I'm not laying these prices with the Samsung Lions, but I'll take the RL to shave down that expensive ML price.

Randy’s Pick Samsung Lions -1.5
