One key with betting the MLB or any baseball is finding underdogs who have great value at an underdog price. Very rarely do all favorites win any given day, so picking the right underdogs can make a lot of money. Let’s take a look at a few underdogs who will come out with victories on Saturday.
Texas Rangers +150
The Texas Rangers came away with a victory over the Colorado Rockies on Friday night and they are in great shape to get the job done again in this game. Kyle Gibson will get the start for the Rangers and although he hasn’t been great, he has had some bad luck. The Rangers bullpen is also well rested coming into this game so if it comes down to that, the Rangers should have the advantage. The Rockies bullpen has let them down, so even if German Marquez has a good start, the Bullpen could still lose it for them.
Kansas City Royals (Game Two) +170
On the mound for the Kansas City Royals in this game will be Danny Duffy who wasn’t great in his last start against the Twins, but either was Jose Berrios who got rocked in the last start. Berrios went 5.1 innings giving up eight hits and four runs. The Royals offense has proven they are good, and they should find success again against Berrios. Getting the Royals at +170 in this game is a gift. Look for the Royals to pull the upset.
Detroit Tigers +167
This is a game that should be bet lightly but with lines not out on all games, the underdogs to bet on are a bit limited. There is no doubt that Shane Bieber has been lights out this year for the Indians, but Spencer Turnball shouldn’t be counted out. Turnbull comes into this game with a 2-0 record and an ERA of 2.00. Turnbull will keep the Tigers in it. At +167 there is way too many value on the Tigers
