The Lotte Giants have lost 26 of their last 50 games overall. Seo Jun-won gets the ball tonight for the Lotte Giants.   

The Samsung Lions have won six of the last eight meetings against the Lotte Giants, and those two losses came in the last four meetings. Five of the last 10 meetings between the Lions and Giants have produced double-digit runs.

Won Tae-in has a 3.83 ERA and 1.45 WHIP this season through 84.2 innings, and he’s allowed three or more earned runs in four of his last five starts. Seo Jun-won has a 4.92 ERA and 1.51 WHIP this season through 75 innings, and he’s allowed three or more earned runs in six of his last seven starts. The Samsung Lions have the pitching edge in this matchup and have beaten up on the Lotte Giants this season, but they’re also a team that’s lost 16 of their last 23 games. Seo Jun-won has issues getting out of an inning clean these days.

This is a spot where I lean toward the over, especially when we’ve seen a lot of high scoring games between the Giants and Lions this season.
