2020-08-28 05:30:00 EDT

The LG Twins and KT Wiz Suwon meet Friday morning in South Korea KBO baseball action at the Jamsil Baseball Stadium.

The LG Twins look for a win after winning 23 of their last 34 games. The LG Twins pitching staff has allowed five or more runs in 31 of their last 56 games. In their last effort, Jeong Keun-woo and Hong Chang-gi combined for three hits and one RBI while Kim Yun-sik allowed zero runs and two hits in six innings of work. The LG Twins have lost 30 of their last 67 games overall. Tyler Wilson gets the ball tonight for the LG Twins.

The KT Wiz Suwon look to stay hot after winning seven of their last 10 games. The KT Wiz Suwon offense has produced four or more runs in 16 of their last 25 games. In their last effort, Kang Baek-ho and Park Seung-wook combined for two hits while Kim Min-soo allowed two runs and five hits in five innings of work. The KT Wiz Suwon have won 21 of their last 33 games overall. So Hyeong-jun gets the ball tonight for the KT Wiz Suwon.

The KT Wiz Suwon have won five of the last nine meetings against the LG Twins, but the last 10 meetings have been split down the middle. Five of the last nine meetings between the Wiz Suwon and Twins have produced double-digit run totals.

Tyler Wilson has a 3.82 ERA and 1.35 WHIP this season through 106 innings, and he’s allowed two or less runs in five of his last seven starts. So Hyeong-jun has a4.46 ERA and 1.41 WHIP this season through 80.2 innings, and he’s allowed a combined two runs in his last 22.2 innings. Tyler Wilson has been the better pitcher overall this season, which is why the LG Twins are likely the favorites in this spot, but the KT Wiz Suwon have been the better team over the last few weeks and Hyeong-jun has been drastically improved over his last four starts.

It’s hard not to side with the KT Wiz Suwon and the plus money. Probably the best value on Friday’s KBO betting card.
