NC Dinos vs. Kiwoom Heroes – 9/2/20 KBO Baseball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

2020-09-02 05:30:00 EDT

The Kiwoom Heroes and NC Dinos meet Wednesday morning in South Korea KBO baseball action at the Gocheok Sky Dome.

The Kiwoom Heroes look for a win after winning 21 of their last 30 games. The Kiwoom Heroes have scored no less than five runs in 21 of their last 44 games. In their last effort, Kim Woong-bin and Jeon Byung-woo combined for one hit and two RBI while Kim Jae-woong allowed three runs and four hits in five innings of work. The Kiwoom Heroes have won 25 of their last 39 games overall. Jo Young-gun gets the ball tonight for the Kiwoom Heroes.

The NC Dinos need a win after losing 14 of their last 26 games. The NC Dinos have scored five or more runs in 31 of their last 51 games. In their last effort, Park Min-woo and Aaron Altherr combined for four hits and four RBI while Mike Wright allowed two runs and four hits in six innings of work. The NC Dinos have won 30 of their last 53 games overall. Song Myung-gi gets the ball tonight for the NC Dinos.

The Kiwoom Heroes and NC Dinos have split the last 10 meetings down the middle. Five of the last eight meetings between the Heroes and Dinos have produced double-digit run totals.

Jo Young-gun has a 6.58 ERA and 1.85 WHIP this season through 26 innings, and he’s allowed two runs and three hits in his last two innings. Song Myung-gi has a 3.62 ERA and 1.23 WHIP this season through 37.1 innings, and he’s allowed two or less earned runs in each of his last three starts. The NC Dinos have a clear starting pitching edge in this matchup and the only thing keeping this line from being far more steeper is how well the Kiwoom Heroes have played over the last month. You could make a strong argument that the NC Dinos should be in the -200 or higher range like some of these other prices we’ve been seeing lately.

With that said, give me the NC Dinos and the RL to shave down the price to a sweet -110.
