The Kia Tigers and Samsung Lions face off on Sunday in a KBO Baseball showdown at Daegu Samsung Lions Park.

In the first game of this series it was the Samsung Lions that were able to come away with the 5-3 victory. Both teams had ten hits, but it was the Samsung Lions who were able to score more runs. In the second game it was the Kia Tigers that were able to come away with the 9-4 victory.

The Kia Tigers come into this game with a 17-23 record overall and they have lost six of their last seven games. The pitching staff has been a big issue for this team and even though the offense has been good, it hasn’t been enough for the most part. Chan-ho Park has been the best player driving in 15 RBI’s. One issue for this team is they aren’t an elite offensive team in terms of the home run with not one player sitting with double digit home runs.

On the side of this matchup is the Samsung Lions who sit with a 23-14 record which puts them in 1st place in the standings. So far this week though the Samsung Lions have gone 1-3 though and during the four games they have scored only 14  runs total. Jose Pirela has been the best player for the Samsung Lions hitting 13 home runs and driving in 34 RBI’s. Min-ho Kang has also hit five home runs and driven in 26 RBI”s.

Yu-sin Kim will get the start for the Kia Tigers and coming into this game he sits with an 0-3 record and an ERA of 8.66.

Sueng-min Lee will get the start for the Samsung Lions and coming into this game he sits with a 1-2 record and an ERA of 5.89.

The weather in this game is expected to be overcast with a slight wind blowing out towards right field.

Both starting pitchers have been bad and there is going to be plenty of scoring by both teams in this game. Back the over to cash with ease.
